  I got call with recording indicating they are taking me to court for check fraud and will be contacting my employer. The caller was never identified and they threatened that if I did not call by end of business they will pursue lawsuit???? The has to be a scam!

  Got a call from this number. The caller called the phone in my office. I have never seen this number before. I called bck to get to know, how it was. But I just got a busy signal.

  Same as everyone else, a recording comes on indicating to call back at this number. States it is due to bank fraud on the account and has to get in touch with employer, if you do not contact them they indicate you will be involved in a lawsuit, Initially called from a private number.   I call a call to both my home and cell phone numbers at the same time regarding "allegations of check and bank fraud" they said to call them back by the end of business today.

  Harrassing call about check or bank fraud. Threatening call that I had until the end of the day to return this call or be issued paperwork to appear in court. Well, they can bring it on because this is not true. I think some of this is coming from FACEBOOK as some of my friends accounts had been hacked- if you look, Maurice Hougum is listed there, but no picture. The phone # on caller ID was a California # 213 330 0187, but it referred me to a DC # 202 83 5785

  I don't have any payday loans they care very rude cussing and carrying on I hung up then searched there number a lot of complaints won't answer again

  I received a message from "private" telling me I had until the end of business today to call (202) 803-5785. They said I was accused of bank and/or check fraud and they would contact my employer about a warrant and subpoena for court. I called my place of employment and they had already contacted them saying I committed this crime. The information was given to the business owner. DAMAGE DONE although I have committed no crime. I did not call the # in fear that it was a scam that would cost for the call. Instead I did an Internet search of the number to find out that it is a land line located in Washington D.C. I also learned that this # has been used in attempted scams/scams for cash.

  These liars called me today at my new job and told me im being sued for bank fraud. I called the number and this guy told me I was being recorded and asked me did I receive paoerwork to come to court. I asked for a manager and he hung up on me. I tried to call back 5 times and got a vm saying noone can take your call. Im reporrting thus number.
